Description
Still and West Country House is a public house located in Portsmouth, marked around 1700, with the current building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features painted brickwork and a plain tiled hipped roof with brick eaves, a central stack, and two additional brick stacks on the left. The structure has three storeys and four bays, with a door on the left side. To the right, there are two 20th-century bowed windows with leaded lights, above which is a frieze and cornice band. The first and second floors have sash windows set under cambered brick arches, with the third window from the left on the second floor bricked up. A brick dentil course runs along the eaves, and there is a 20th-century extension on the right. The left return features 4-pane sash windows, a door on the left in a reeded casing with a frieze and corniced hood, and a 20th-century window to the right, all under a corniced band. There is also a 20th-century extension to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
