Description
Woodend is a villa built in 1847 by T.E. Owen, located on Queen's Crescent in Southsea. The building is stuccoed and features a low pitch Welsh slate roof with rendered stacks on both sides. It has two storeys and three bays, presenting a symmetrical front. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century panelled door and fanlight, which is set back within a one-storey projecting porch. This porch is adorned with horizontal rustications, a round arch opening, a cornice, and a balustraded parapet with corner piers. To the left of the entrance is a 20th-century casement window, while to the right is a two-storey extension from the 20th century. The first floor includes a moulded sill band and three 20th-century six-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
