Description

The garden wall of Number 9, including the gate piers, was built in 1859 and is likely designed by T.E. Owen. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a tall structure with a pierced parapet and rounded coping, along with a plinth at the base. The wall curves as it returns to the Vale and includes a lower section with rounded coping. The gate piers are notable for their stone quoins and a moulded stone cap topped with a pyramidal tiled cap. The left pier is adorned with a stone finial. This structure is included for its group value.
