Description

This water pump, located 10 metres southwest of Crimea House at Fort Pitt Grammar School for Girls, dates from the early 19th century. It features a cast iron column designed in the Greek Doric style, complete with a spout, handle, and a conical top. The cap and shaft are marked with lettering from the Board of Ordnance.
