Description
This cottage, located at the rear of No 374 High Street, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, with some parts rendered, and features a concrete pantile gable-end roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are two early 20th-century painted plate glass sash windows set beneath wooden lintels. The first floor includes two six-pane sash windows with glazing bars, along with one central blocked window opening, all of which are topped with flat rubbed brick arches. The entrance is marked by a projecting brick doorcase with pilasters and a rounded arch head, and it features a mutule brick cornice. The door is a six-panel fielded design and is topped by an arched fanlight with glazing bars. There are two stacks at the end gables.
