Description
Cliff Cottage is a cottage orné built around 1840-1850. It stands two storeys high and is constructed of coursed rubble on a terrace. The building features two gables with decorative cusped bargeboards, one of which is positioned over a slight break. There are two windows with two pointed glazing bar lights, which are flanked by blind lancets. On the ground floor, there are French casements. The east side has a glazed tent roof verandah that includes a gabled break with a small oriel bay window on the first floor. The overall appearance of the cottage is picturesque.
