Description

Appletree Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Main Road in Brighstone. It is constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble, featuring some patches of ironstone. The cottage has a half-hipped thatched roof with a brick chimneystack. It is two storeys high with attics and has three windows. The front includes three modern casement windows and a thatched brick weather porch with a plank door. There is an outshut at the rear.
