Description
The stable at Pidford Manor, built around 1795, is designed in a Neo Classical style reminiscent of Samuel Wyatt. It is constructed from coursed Isle of Wight stone rubble with yellow brick dressings and features a hipped tiled roof. The central section has a projecting pediment flanked by brick pilasters and a horseshoe arched coach entrance, with end brick pilasters. Each wing has a loading door on the first floor, while the ground floor includes two Diocletian windows and a central cambered stable door in each wing. The left side retains stall partitions and a brick floor, while the central area has a cobbled floor.
