Description
Beaper Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse. The front is made of red brick in Flemish bond, while the sides are constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble, sitting on a brick and stone plinth. It has a slate roof with end brick chimneystacks; the right side is rendered and the left is partially rendered. The building has two storeys and an attic in the gable end, featuring three windows. It is positioned endwise to the road. The ground floor has 19th-century triple casement windows with cambered arches. There is a brick gabled weather porch with a cambered doorcase. The side elevation has cross-shaped iron ties and an attic window with red brick dressings. The rear has a catslide roof. Inside, there is a two-panelled early 18th-century door and a wooden screen made of raised planks. The farmhouse was derelict at the time of the survey.
