Description

This building is a cart shed and stable for cart horses at Parsonage Farm, dating from around 1830. It is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings and has a slate roof. The cart shed features four bays supported by reused square wooden piers with bolted knees, and the bays are separated by plank partitions. On the left side, there is stabling for a carthorse, which includes one square opening and a cambered headed door. This structure is included for its group value.
