Description

Gatepiers and gate to Hill Grove were built around 1814 by John Nash for the Earl of Ducie. The gatepiers are made of tooled stone and feature semi-circular heads. They are complemented by an attached cast iron gate that has three horizontal bars crossing diagonal bars, along with a diamond pattern of segmental lines and a central rosette.
