Description

The ornamental building in the grounds of Mount Cleves is a monument or seamark dating from the early 18th century. It is a square cairn made of rough ashlar blocks, topped with stone coping and a stone spire that stands 4 feet high. This spire is said to have come from Carisbrooke Church.
