Description

The Buddle Homestead is an 18th-century house located in Niton and Whitwell. It is constructed from stone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof topped by a tall 19th-century brick chimneystack. The building is single-storey and has three windows, which are 19th-century tripartite sashes adorned with 18th-century keystones and moulded dripmoulds. The gable ends have kneelers, and there is a 19th-century gabled porch that also has kneelers and a trefoliated finial. The entrance includes a late 18th-century six-panelled door, and original mullioned windows can be found on the left-hand side of the house.
