Description

This chest tomb, dated 1642, is located approximately 5 metres south of the Philips Monument at St Mary and St Radegund Church in Whitwell. It is made of stone and features a moulded top along with a central pilaster that displays the date. The tomb is partially buried under soil, making the inscription illegible at the time of the survey.
