Description

Ash Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of Isle of Wight stone rubble, and the roof is now covered with modern pantiles. The building features a brick chimneystack and gable ends with kneelers. There are three mid-19th century casement windows and a doorcase that has a hipped slate hood with trelliswork on the sides. The entrance includes a six-panelled door, with the top four panels being glazed. The gable end facing the road has a blocked mullioned window.
