Description
No 106 St James's Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features a chequered brick façade with red brick dressings. The gable end roof is covered with slate, and the eaves are concealed by a parapet and a moulded stone cornice. There are stucco bands between the storeys. The first floor has three full-length windows that are recessed, with sash windows that include glazing bars and block sills on the second floor. The central door, located between two modern shop fronts, is recessed and consists of four fielded panels with panelled reveals and a rectangular fanlight above. The doorcase is adorned with engaged Doric columns, a plain frieze, and a cornice.
