Description

Nos 7 and 9 Church Street is a building dating from around 1850, consisting of three storeys constructed from rendered rubble. The façade is divided into three narrow bays, each defined by pairs of Doric pilasters that extend through the first and second floors, with a narrow window positioned between the outer pairs of pilasters. The building features a frieze, cornice, and a panelled parapet with dies. The three main bays include framed tripartite sash windows on the second floor and rectangular tripartite bay windows with entablatures on the first floor. The narrow windows are fitted with marginal glazing, and there is a cornice above the altered shop fronts on the ground floor.
