Description

The Esplanade Wall in West Cowes was built in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It features cemented balustrading that stands about 3 feet high, with square piers placed at regular intervals. The wall is included for its group value and interest as part of the esplanade improvements made in the 1890s.
