Description

The Church of St Faith's, built in 1909 and designed by architect J Standen Atkins, is located on Newport Road in West Cowes. This building features a pebbledashed exterior with a tiled roof that has been covered in modern tiles. It is designed in a Free Gothic style, influenced by the work of Voysey. The church has a five-bay nave and an apsidal-ended chancel, with battered buttresses on the exterior that create vaulting in the interior. Additionally, there is a bellcote and small north and south chapels located in the chancel.
