Description

Station House is a house dated 1877, built for the station master of Brading Station by the Isle of Wight Railway. It is constructed of rendered brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two bays with a central entrance plan. The doorway features a projecting plain arched surround, and there are segmental-headed six-light sash windows. Above the door, there is a recessed plaque that reads "IWR 1877." A brick gable stack is located to the left, and there is a projecting rear wing that contains a staircase and offices. This building is included for its group value.
