Description

Hill House is a house built around 1820. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a roof with two hips, covered in modern cement tiles, and tall brick end chimneystacks. The building has two storeys. The front elevation includes three windows; the two upper end sashes have 16 panes and ribbed brick voussoirs, while the central window has horns but lacks glazing bars. The left-hand ground floor window has lost the upper part of its sash. There is a central wooden doorcase with a pediment, console brackets, and pilasters, featuring a six-flush panelled door with the top two panels cut away and glazed. On the right side elevation, there is a doorcase with a cornice that has a triglyph frieze and engaged Tuscan columns.
