Description
The Terrace is a late 18th-century building that consists of two cottages now combined into one house, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick featuring random blue headers and has an old tile gabled roof.
The building has a long rectangular plan that extends at the right end. It stands two storeys tall and is topped with two corniced chimneys, one located on the left gable and the other on the ridge to the right of centre. The eaves are finished with a wooden box cornice.
The west-facing front has four bays and originally featured two entrance doors. The right-hand door, located in the third bay, has been replaced by a window, with a new window added above it on the first floor. The left-hand door remains and dates from the mid-19th century, featuring round arched, glazed panels set in a moulded architrave beneath a cornice hood supported by scrolled brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
