Description

Two K6 telephone kiosks are located outside the Bakers Almshouses on Lea Bridge Road in Leyton. These kiosks were designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and were made by various contractors. They are constructed from cast iron and feature a square shape with domed roofs. The kiosks have unperforated crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and doors.
