Description
Ivy Cottages is a pair of semi-detached houses located on the east side of The Forest in Snaresbrook, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow brick and feature later tiled mansards that rise to a parapet. The buildings are two storeys high with dormers, and each house is two windows wide. The entrances are semicircular with gauged heads, leading to outer bays, and are adorned with radial patterned fanlights and panelled doors. The windows are square with gauged heads, sashes, and glazing bars. Each house has a flat-topped dormer. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
