Description
Gwydr Lodge is a house, now terraced, dating from around the mid 18th century and has been altered. The exterior is stuccoed with a steeply pitched tiled roof that features a parapet. The building has two storeys and dormers, with four irregular bays. The second bay from the right has an open pedimented Doric pilastered doorcase with a panelled door. There are square-headed windows, a canted single storey bay from around 1900 to the left, and a smaller timber canted bay to the right. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there are two flat-headed dormers with plate glass. Inside, there is a doglegged turned baluster stair with a panelled ramped dado, along with panelling and a cornice in the left-hand room and hall on the ground floor.
