Description
Devoncroft is a house from the early 18th century that has been altered. It features a stucco exterior with roughcast on the upper storey and a slated gambrel roof at the eaves. The house is located on a corner site and has two storeys plus dormers. It has four main bays, with the entrance situated to the left of the right bay. The entrance is square-headed, with pilasters and a cornice, and includes a panelled door. The windows are square-headed, flush framed sashes with glazing bars. There are three square-headed dormers with casement windows, and stacks are located to the right and left of the building. Inside, the house retains its original turned baluster staircase and woodwork.
