Description
Westcroft Cottage, located at Westcroft Farm on Westcroft Road in Carshalton, is a building from the 18th century that features a 17th century or earlier timber-framed core. It is two storeys high and has an old tile roof with four flat-topped dormer windows. The exterior is roughcast, and there are five sash windows on the first floor. The ground floor has been altered; Westcroft Farm House includes a later addition with a tile roof, while Westcroft Cottage has two sash windows and a central doorway with a tile canopy, and the door has cover strips. Inside Westcroft Cottage, there is a large fireplace and visible beams. The surrounding parkfields, piers, walls, and railings create a group with Bramblehaw End, Bramblehaw Cottage, and an outbuilding over the drive to Bramblehaw Cottage.
