Description

The front garden walls along Warren Avenue in Cheam date from the 19th century and are part of a larger group of garden walls that include those on the south side of Warren Avenue and in Wilbury and Onslow Avenues. These walls extend eastward from a point opposite the east entrance to Elmwood to a point opposite the east entrance to Woodlands. The walls are interrupted by two entrances, one located opposite the east entrance to Woodpeckers and the other opposite Woodlands. These structures contribute to the historic character of the area, forming part of the Cheam Warren Wall.
