Description

Clarence House is an early 18th century house situated on the north-east side of The Vineyard. It is three storeys high and seven windows wide, constructed of brick with a parapet and a slate mansard roof. The main entrance is slightly off-centre and is complemented by a single-storey canted bay. The windows are segmental headed and have flush frames; the third window from the left on the upper storey is blind. Notable original features include good surviving chimney piers, a panelled suite of rooms, an entrance hall, and a staircase.
