Description

This is an 18th-century building located on Thames Street in Hampton. The street elevation is of brown brick with red dressings, and it rises two storeys over a basement. The river front rises three storeys with an attic. The roof is a Mansard roof. The street elevation has four windows, with stucco bands and a parapet. A doorway is located on the right-hand side, approached by steps, and features a doorcase with fluted pilasters, a dentil- ed entablature, and a cornice. The windows are square headed flush framed sashes. The river elevation has an attic and a central, three-storey splayed bay of three windows, with one window on either side. A stone or stucco balustraded parapet with balconies on the first and second floors tops the splayed bay. A stucco band is situated between the first and second floors.
