Description

The Church of St Mary, located on Thames Street in Hampton, was rebuilt between 1829 and 1831 by E. Lapidge. It is constructed of plain yellow stock brick in a Gothic style, featuring lancet windows and a simple west tower. Inside, the church has a galleried layout supported by quatrefoil piers. A short sanctuary was added by Sir Arthur Blomfield in 1888. The church contains monuments and fittings from the earlier structure, including one dedicated to Sybil Pan, who died in 1562.
