Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century houses on Woodford Road. They are three storeys high with a basement. The houses are constructed of stock brick and have ten sash windows each, with painted stucco surrounds. A prominent central, Doric columned doorcase is featured in each house; the columns have individual entablatures with triglyph friezes, a cornice with mutules, and open pediments. The fanlights above the doors are plain and of semi-circular design, with plain reveals. There are five splayed stone steps leading to the entrances, with iron railings. The houses have a coped parapet and a modern tile roof, with an end stack.
