Description
The Manor House is a substantial detached house, now used as offices. It was probably built around 1700, with a later 18th-century front, and was restored in the late 20th century. The facade is made of brown brick with red dressings, and the returns are weatherboarded. It has a pitched tiled roof that features a parapet. The building has two storeys plus dormers and consists of five bays. The central entrance is square-headed and has stuccoed surrounds with an altered pediment above, leading to a panelled door. The windows are square gauged brick headed sashes, with horned designs on the ground floor and glazing bars. The outer ground floor windows were replaced in the late 19th century with canted bays. There is a central pedimental projection at the parapet, which contains an ogee light with intersecting glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
