Description
The Bankes tomb, located in the churchyard of St Mary, dates from the mid-18th century and is made of Portland stone. It features swelling 'baluster' profiled corners and panelled sides, topped with a slab. The tomb is situated 4 yards to the northwest of the Bazalgette Mausoleum.
