Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 5 yards south of the west tower of the Church of St Lawrence. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of Portland stone and marble. The tomb features apsed ends, with the eastern end showcasing an elaborately carved crest within a foliated frame. The sides are panelled, and the top is moulded, tapering to a point.
