Description

24 and 24A Market Place is an early 19th-century building that stands three and four storeys tall. It features three bays and four storeys facing Church Street, while the three bays and three storeys curve around into Market Place. The ground floor has a modern shop front. The upper floors are finished in painted brick, with stucco architraves around the first-floor windows. The three-storey section on the right has lost its cornice and moulded architraves. The building is primarily noted for its group value within the area.
