Description

The Plough Inn is a public house dating back to the 15th century, with later additions and alterations. It is two storeys high and has a double-pitched tiled roof. The building features two chimneys, one of which is large. There are three windows with casement frames and bars. A modern entrance door is topped by a hood supported on shaped brackets. The ground floor has two bay windows, one modern and one from the 18th century. The original 15th-century work is visible in the centre, showing external timber framing on the first floor. A modern addition is on the right side of the building. The front of the building is stuccoed, and the gable end is weatherboarded.
