Description
The Green Man Public House is a building dating from the 18th century or earlier, located on Green Man Lane in Bedfont. The exterior has been altered and is now rendered and painted, whereas it was formerly thatched. The building has two storeys and features three windows. The former stables have been incorporated into the public house and now serve as the Lounge Bar. The current public bar occupies the original premises. A notable feature is the highwayman's hide, which is built into the open back of the chimney in the lounge bar and can be seen from the exterior on the left-hand side.
