Description

The churchyard wall, located approximately 30 metres southwest of the Church of St Nicholas, was built in 1838, as indicated by an inscription tablet. The wall is constructed of English bond brick and extends around 20 metres. It features early to mid 19th century memorial tablets and a monument to Edward Crisp, who died in 1739. This monument includes a heraldic cartouche set on an obelisk above the inscription panel. The wall is included in the listing for its group value only.
