Description

1 Fairfax Road is part of the original Bedford Park development, built between 1875 and 1885. This house is designed in a picturesque style and is mostly three storeys tall, constructed from red brick and tile, featuring gabled roofs and dormers. The upper part of the house is roughcast and tile hung, with a two-storeyed gabled bay and a single storeyed bay on the return. The doorway is framed by a moulded brick surround.
