Description

This house, number 1 Rupert Road, is part of the original Bedford Park development, dating from approximately 1875 to 1885. It is built in a picturesque style and is two-and-a-half storeys high, constructed from red brick and tile with gables and dormers. A distinctive shaped gable is located above the entrance porch. A long bay features a timber rail and arched window that rises into the roof as a dormer. A later wing was added to the rear of the property. The house contributes to the group value of the listed houses on Rupert Road.
