Description
The Rose and Crown Inn is an 18th-century building with 19th-century additions, located on London Road in Isleworth. It is constructed of brown brick and stands three storeys tall. The second floor features three sash windows with flat arches, along with two blocked windows between them, all trimmed with orange and brown brick. The first floor has three sash windows with cambered arches and a three-light bay window above the main entrance, which dates back to the coaching era when such bays allowed travelers to see the road while waiting for their coach. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century sash windows and two 19th-century doors. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension. The building has an old tiled roof and a parapet.
