Description

The entrance building to Uxbridge Lido, built in 1935 by G Percy Trentham, is a notable example of Moderne style architecture. This one-storey structure is primarily made of concrete and features a central brick bay topped with a flagstaff. The central bay has a round-headed arch and a flat roof. It includes two windows in the central block and six in the wings, all of which have original metal-framed casements. The center also contains a pay window and original metal railings. Currently, part of the building is used as a martial arts centre and a bookstore. This entrance building is one of several structures that make up Uxbridge Lido.
