Description
The Shrubbery is a late 18th century house located set back from the road on High Street in Uxbridge. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a stone-coped parapet and a hipped slate roof. The building has three storeys and five windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars, set under flat gauged brick arches and with wood-lined reveals. Access to the house is via three steps leading to a modern half-glazed double door, which is situated in a panelled reveal and topped with a patterned fanlight. The entrance is flanked by pilasters and has a cornice hood supported by moulded brackets.
