Description

Rose Cottage is a restored 16th-century timber-framed cottage located on Breakspear Road in Ruislip Common. It has one storey and an attic, featuring two windows. The front of the cottage is covered in a modern brick skin, but at the back, the original square framing and swell-head posts with brick filling are still visible. The cottage has modern leaded casements and an old tiled roof that is half-hipped on the left side. It appears to be part of a larger building. There are two modern dormers of unequal size and a lean-to porch at the center front. The chimney on the right side has been rebuilt.
