The farmhouse has a high-pitched tiled roof with an old compound stack. The exterior displays visible square framing with whitewashed brick nogging. There are 19th century one-bar casements, and a small modern window has been inserted on the left side of the first floor. Woodman's Farmhouse forms a group with the nearby Plough Inn.
