Description
The Manor Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed building that has undergone alterations in the 18th century. It now serves as local government offices. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a projecting gabled north wing. It features an old tiled roof with a compound ridge stack and a chimney at the right end. The first floor has close studding with brick nogging, while the ground floor is currently pebble-dashed. The building has sash windows with glazing bars; the first-floor windows are set in exposed moulded frames, and the ground-floor windows are in reveals. There is a six-panel door beneath a flat hood. The north wing is stuccoed, and inside, some moulded beams are exposed.
