Description

The Plough Inn is a 16th or early 17th century timber-framed building, of which only two bays remain. These bays are partly obscured by an early 20th century north wing designed in a Tudor style, along with large modern extensions to the south and east. The building features an old tiled roof and visible upper parts that display stout framing with brick nogging. Inside, some heavy timbers can be seen. The Plough Inn is noted for its group value, as it forms a group with Woodman's Farmhouse.
