Description
The barn and stable block located to the north of Broadfields Farmhouse is likely from the 17th century. It is timber framed, featuring weatherboarding and a tiled roof. The structure consists of six bays and does not have aisles. The roof is supported by queen raking struts and tie beams that are braced with knees. There is a carriageway in the third bay from the east, which has a gabled porch on the north side. To the west of the porch, there is an outshot on the north side. Additionally, there is an attached weatherboarded stable block to the western bay that extends south and retains its stalls, which are probably from the 19th century.
