Description

The railed tomb located to the west of the Church of All Saints is a Grade II listed structure, possibly dating from the 18th century. It is dedicated to Thomas Woodroffe, who died in 1746, along with others. The tomb features a square base with a cornice and inscribed tablets, topped by a square sarcophagus that stands on moulded feet. The sarcophagus rises in moulded stages to a crowning vase. Surrounding the tomb are cast-iron railings adorned with spike finials and vase finials on the main stanchions.
